3-year workmanship guarantee

Every ceramic coating we apply comes with this guarantee. These are the full terms.

What this guarantee covers

For 3 years from the date your ceramic coating is applied, Vantique Detailing will fix, at no charge, any fault in the coating that was caused by our application.

That includes:

• High spots, streaks or hazing left in the coating
• The coating failing to bond, so it stops repelling water on a properly maintained panel
• Any panel we missed or coated incompletely

This is Vantique Detailing's own guarantee on our workmanship. It is not a manufacturer warranty. The 3 years apply to the paint coating. Glass, wheel and trim coatings applied in the same visit are covered for 1 year.

What it does not cover

The guarantee covers our work, not damage or wear that happens after the vehicle leaves the shop.

• Rock chips, scratches, scuffs and swirl marks
• Damage from automatic or brush car washes
• Water spots, etching from bird droppings, tree sap or chemicals left on the paint
• Accident damage, vandalism or bodywork
• Panels that are repainted or repaired after the coating is applied
• Normal wear, including the gradual loss of water beading as a coating ages
• Defects that were in the paint before coating and noted at drop-off

Keeping your guarantee valid

The guarantee stays valid when the coating is looked after and checked once a year.

1. Keep the vehicle dry for the first 12 hours after pickup.
2. Do not wash it for the first 7 days.
3. Hand wash with a pH-neutral soap. Do not use automatic or brush car washes.
4. Bring the vehicle to our shop once a year for a check-up wash, within 30 days of the anniversary of the coating date. This is a paid maintenance visit where we wash, inspect and top up the coating.

The guarantee belongs to the original customer and vehicle. It does not transfer if the vehicle is sold.

Making a claim

If you think the coating has a fault, contact us before having anyone else work on it.

1. Call or text (604) 239-2342, or email info@vantiquedetailing.ca, with a description and a few photos.
2. We book an inspection at the shop, 12851 Bathgate Way #8, Richmond.
3. If the fault comes from our application, we polish and recoat the affected panels at no charge.

Our responsibility under this guarantee is limited to correcting the coating on the affected panels. It does not include refunds, loss of use, or work done by another shop.
